I would like to say hello to all the people with whom I have been out of
touch. I would like to hear from you, so drop me a note. (It's possible I
will put off my procrastination a little bit and actually send out some
emails to those of you who have already posted to this sight, but who
knows...)
Hope the class of '90 has a great reunion. Many of my frields graduated in
'90, and it almost feels like I belong at the reunion, but I guess I will
just wait until next year. Say hello to your fellow '90'ers for me.

- College: Caltech, Cornell
- Occupation: Graduate Student
- Last Updated: 10/30/1999
- What's New?: Howdy. As you may know, I didn't finish at Del Norte...
I never got my high school diploma. Instead, I went to a hippie international
school for two years in the boonies of northern NM, and got a meaningless
degree called an International Baccalaureate. I went to Caltech in 1992
and studied physics, economics and astronomy, and finished in 1996 with a
BS in physics. Next I went to Cornell University to work on a PhD in
astrophysics (I'm still there). I just passed my candidacy exam in
September (1999), so now I have a MS degree to put in my sock drawer. My
thesis work involves observational cosmology, focusing on the evolution
of galaxies. I do most of my research at the Arecibo radio telescope
in Puerto Rico (as seen in the movies Contact and Goldeneye), but I have
also been doing a bit of high altitude work in northern Chile. My primary
responsibility as a scientist is to educate, so please drop me a line,
and have a look at my web pages. Learn about our amazing universe!

- College(s):
- Occupation: General Manager, Hotel Biz
- Last Updated: 03/15/2001
- What's New?: Ten freakin' years. A lot of stuff has happened to us all, I'm sure.
As for me, I started college to become an architect and discovered I would make a better....well,
anything else. As it turns out, I found my niche in the hospitality industry. I have worked
for the last half dozen years at many different hotels and motels, all over the country. As of
2001, I am in Denver, as General Manager for a huge motel chain. While I enjoy my job immensly,
my passion is photography, and I have been fortunate enough to have taken many photos of all
of the places I have been.
Those that knew me back in school might remember me as a conservative, Republican flavored guy. T
hose days are LONG gone. I am now a card carrying liberal, hippy, freak. And quite content with
it, hairy face not withstanding. I would be interesting in hearing from as many of you as possible,
as I'm not sure I will be at the reunion. So, if the feeling moves you, drop me an email!!
I hope all my buds from drafting and physics are happy and healthy. And are steering clear from all
but the least damaging Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

We have 3 beautiful girls (Jada born 4/98, Kyla born 7/99 and Serena 7/02). It is hard to believe that we are all old enough to have our own children! I know I have done a lot of growing up since high school, as am sure you have too. To think I am going to have to put up with 3 girls doing the same stupid stuff I did will surely drive me to the nut house. - Occupation: Graduate Student
- Last Updated: 03/15/2001
- What's New?: Well, the last time I posted here I was living in the great city of San
Francisco, pursuing a Masters degree. Things have changed and I'm now in Houston-we-have-a-problem,
Texas. If you want to know how nice Albuquerque is, come live in Houston! But I didn't come here
for the humidity or flat horizons. I'm currently a graduate student at Baylor College of Medicine.
I'm working on a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology. It's an incredible institution, which makes
Houston's oppressive, autoclave-like Spring/Summer/Fall bearable. I'm studying the molecular basis
of the aging process and what we've discovered so far is that...you're still going to die ;)
Science, nature, music, photography, film and food still command much of my attention span and keep
painting my world the most amazing shades of blue. Once my projects get into a nice rhythm I may be
able to do a little traveling (emphasis on little). I still visit my friends and family in ABQ
regularly. Drop me a line if you have any questions. Cheers!
